Raymond J. Le Blanc received his PhD from the University of Toronto in 1983. After brief stints with the Alberta and federal governments, working with the Archaeological Survey of Alberta and the Archaeological Survey of Canada, he joined the staff of the Department of Anthropology at the University of Alberta in 1987.
