Maurice Mierau tackles big subjects -- sex, senility, war, suicide -- without a ponderous bone in his body. Born in Indiana, Maurice Mierau grew up in Nigeria, Manitoba, Jamaica, Kansas, and Saskatchewan, and now lives in Winnipeg.
